It's like when you remember a tv show from your childhood and rewatch it as an adult and realise how cheaply made and half-assed it all was and it ruins the magic, but also creates a strange new understanding of it and leaves you a more mature and wiser person.

It’s legitimately some of the most frugal writing I’ve ever seen. If I read this in a novel, I’d applaud the author for giving me such a vivid impression of a character with so few words.
