im not into his music for incoherent chica blanca tonta reasons, but everything I've seen of him (SNL, some random golf movie, etc.) is pretty good.

I am pretty sure he's been cool on lots of stuff regarding US colonialism and domestic stuff. Low bar to clear but better than a lot of libs. Maybe even a comrade he isn't really specific about his political ideology beyond the very low bars libs have set for themselves.
