Starlight Tour [CW: Violence against first nations people; freezing; death]

I haven't been able to find any news articles yet only videos of people on social media discussing it. Some videos:

https://www.youtube.com/shorts/HE_I0p23smg

https://www.facebook.com/reel/863167659928854

https://www.reddit.com/r/ICE_Raids/comments/1qi3ojk/sharing_from_tiktok_to_spread_awareness/

https://www.reddit.com/r/ICE_Watch/comments/1qr3sz4/healthcare_workers_confirm_that_ice_is_abandoning/

Most of these videos are a week or so old, I haven't found anything newer nor have I found "reliable" reporting, but I am using google search, which is dogshit.

This is really common for releasing detainees from jail, or releasing inmates from prison as well. They just wave you off in the middle of nowhere, often places without transit, sidewalks...middle of the highway, middle of nowhere, whatever weather. People die from it. Horrendous way to make sure even release is a punishment.

I've been watching The Wire and the Baltimore PD in the show basically just does all the heinous shit people are getting mad at ICE for (including dropping innocent people off miles from any civilization) and I guess it's better people get upset about it late than never but also it's been common knowledge this is what cops do for decades at this point

And here I thought the starlight tours were something unique

pigs don't have unique thoughts, they see a way to harm people and they integrate it

Of course, but I didn't think it was institutionalised
