I wonder how many dems running in 2026 will actually say stuff like "I'm a proud democrat. But we need border security. When I was in the Marines we had a saying - 'Secure the perimeter...' "
I already know of one candidate who said "we need a strong border because without borders we aren't a country"
And I'm thinking "so what?" I don't get patriotism at all. It's a chunk of land I was born in, big whoop!
Given the number of military veterans that are coming out of the woodwork to run under the dem ticket while centering the need for more ~~treats~~ benefits for veterans, it feels like we're at the most mere months away from this happening.
