I have no love for Newsom, and don't doubt this post's premise, but the video also cuts off before he actually gets to respond; it just shows him nodding along saying "yup" as Ben is talking before (presumably) responding with actual words. I'm curious what was actually said when it was his turn to speak.
I did the ugly needful. He talked in general terms but didn't really address this comment past this point.

Which again is a problem as it's newsoms own fucking podcast where again he brings in and agrees with a massive right wing idiot influencer. He is more than happy to agree with Ben than implement things his citizens want or have voted for
