The Aztec protests led by Hernán Cortés are a clear demonstration of the struggle of the Aztec people against the militaristic and theocratic Aztec Empire.

The Aztec Empire committed a bunch of abuses including ritual sacrifice.

I hope things gets better for the Aztec people and I hope they can integrate more of the western culture in their lives. My heart is with them <3.

The pope says that the protesters are shouting "deus vult" signifying their desire for the church to act as a unifying force in their country
