Welcome to the discussion of US Politics!

Rules:

  1. Post only links to articles, Title must fairly describe link contents. If your title differs from the site’s, it should only be to add context or be more descriptive. Do not post entire articles in the body or in the comments.

Links must be to the original source, not an aggregator like Google Amp, MSN, or Yahoo.

Example:

  1. Articles must be relevant to politics. Links must be to quality and original content. Articles should be worth reading. Clickbait, stub articles, and rehosted or stolen content are not allowed. Check your source for Reliability and Bias here.
  2. Be civil, No violations of TOS. It’s OK to say the subject of an article is behaving like a (pejorative, pejorative). It’s NOT OK to say another USER is (pejorative). Strong language is fine, just not directed at other members. Engage in good-faith and with respect! This includes accusing another user of being a bot or paid actor. Trolling is uncivil and is grounds for removal and/or a community ban.
  3. No memes, trolling, or low-effort comments. Reposts, misinformation, off-topic, trolling, or offensive. Similarly, if you see posts along these lines, do not engage. Report them, block them, and live a happier life than they do. We see too many slapfights that boil down to "Mom! He's bugging me!" and "I'm not touching you!" Going forward, slapfights will result in removed comments and temp bans to cool off.
  4. Vote based on comment quality, not agreement. This community aims to foster discussion; please reward people for putting effort into articulating their viewpoint, even if you disagree with it.
  5. No hate speech, slurs, celebrating death, advocating violence, or abusive language. This will result in a ban. Usernames containing racist, or inappropriate slurs will be banned without warning

We ask that the users report any comment or post that violate the rules, to use critical thinking when reading, posting or commenting. Users that post off-topic spam, advocate violence, have multiple comments or posts removed, weaponize reports or violate the code of conduct will be banned.

All posts and comments will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. This means that some content that violates the rules may be allowed, while other content that does not violate the rules may be removed. The moderators retain the right to remove any content and ban users.

That's all the rules!

Dude needs to open a gofundme for that one. I'd give him ten bucks for the delivery of what many of us think.

Holy shit dude made 220k from this. Good on him for not being afraid to speak up.

Someone anonymously dropped $5,000 as a donation. It's always nice to see that some people are using their much-higher-than-average disposable income for the good of others.

What's the point of having Fuck You money if you never say "fuck you"‽

[–] CharlesDarwin@lemmy.world 40 points 11 hours ago

I hope he makes enough to retire for life.

[–] arrow74@lemmy.zip 8 points 8 hours ago

360k now, that's at least enough to buy a good house with plenty leftover in that area.

[–] mrgoosmoos@lemmy.ca 14 points 10 hours ago

I was going to contribute as a non-american, but I can see that's he's got enough from it. I'll save it for another patriot

It’s at $219,000 right now. That man deserves a fucking metal for actually getting a response from that child rapist. We need this to happen to him wherever he goes! This is one of those few times that filming yourself insulting someone is not only permissible, but encouraged.

does he also mouth "fuck you" to the guy? it kind of looks like it, but it kind of doesn't, but I can't tell how much is just the fact that Trump's face is fucking weird and he talks funny

[–] bcgm3@lemmy.world 4 points 9 hours ago (1 children)

He did according to TMZ.

In response, the 47th President of the United States mouthed "F*** you" to the man before flipping him off.

Yet Trump isn't the one that got suspended.

[–] bcgm3@lemmy.world 1 points 6 hours ago

A drop in the ocean at this point.

[–] bcgm3@lemmy.world 1 points 8 hours ago

He really jets out of there the moment he gets called out, too.

[–] Jerb322@lemmy.world 3 points 10 hours ago

There is. Someone else should have yelled out "and he'll do it again" to see if he slips up. "Yeah...wait.."

[–] Hadriscus@jlai.lu 8 points 10 hours ago (1 children)

280000 right now ! it's increasing rapidly !

[–] SayJess@lemmy.blahaj.zone 7 points 10 hours ago

You love to see it 🙂

[–] Hideakikarate@sh.itjust.works 25 points 12 hours ago (1 children)

I'm always skeptical on these. How do we know it's his and not just some scammer?

[–] CainTheLongshot@lemmy.world 12 points 11 hours ago

It looks like the beneficiary was setup to the correct name. Not sure how accurate that is. Might need to find a news source confirming he is the beneficiary.

As of now, total is 800 k.

[–] SinningStromgald@lemmy.world 7 points 10 hours ago (1 children)

Now we wait for Trump to ~~shakedown~~ file a lawsuit against GoFundMe or have the DOJ investigate them for "funding terrorists". Possibly both because why not.

[–] kchr@lemmy.sdf.org 3 points 9 hours ago

I'm sure the Antifa Corporation Ltd is involved with this operation at some level...
