I’ve been sharing updates for a while now but things are still unresolved and I don’t want to go quiet while my sister is still being held.

I’m a trans refugee supporting my sisters. Last year, three of them were arrested while fetching water here in Juba South Sudan and Police refused bail despite documentation. Mutual aid helped free two of them and one survived a serious hospital stay.

Charity is still in jail. She’s been held for over a month in harsh conditions and police are demanding $213 for bail before court. It’s punitive, cruel and putting her health at risk every day.

If a few comrades can spare $5 or $10, it adds up quickly. Any extra support also helps us cover basic survival needs like food and clean water. Shares and bumps help this reach people who might be able to step in.
