I really hope Chinese diplomats and others in similar positions step up the rhetoric like this. Not for Americans but for the rest of the world. China has its warts but is a shining example compared to the piss and shit you find in the West. A true inspiration. Let's just hope the party can shed its neoliberal ideology like xiaohongshu has been writing about.

I befriended a guy from China recently, he's kinda gusano, calls himself a democratic socialist, wants to work in america for the money before going back to China, etc.

We started talking politics and it was weird to see him criticizing China, and me saying "yeah but that's better than the alternative here in the US" and he was like "yeah but the US is shit why would anybody use their policies"

Was kinda refreshing? I'm so used to hearing people shitting on China with the view that America was better in whatever way they were arguing, really made me understand I'm still a euro-centric POS
