Incredibly stupid thing to say. Every socialist and big-tent left party in europe will be internally pressured to kick Palantir out of the government systems as soon as the pendulum swings back to them in the electoral system.

Do you think the left parties are smart enough to understand that they will be fucked too?

Here in the UK at least a significant proportion of Greens and Your Party self identify as communists so I would think so for us at the very least. Even the trots would recognise that they're included in this.

I can't speak for all of europe but there are a lot of big-tent parties with a significant red or pink section that should be able to pressure internally. It's a direct and explicit statement that Palantir wants to kill us. There's no ifs or buts about it. No way to weasel word "but that's not what he meant". It is explicitly what he means. Palantir exists to kill leftists and therefore the left should throw Palantir out of the country wherever we get power.

This company has access to NHS patient data in the UK right now, I want them out.

lol no, neoliberal european parties would never ever. and that's the only kind of "left" that'll get in power in europe.

There are a number of parties that are big tent alliances of liberals and socialists. They very much do have to keep their socialists happy or else the alliance will collapse. There is very real potential for this to occur within those parties.

Yeah, and they all get 3% to 8% beyond flukes. If you mean the Socdems, they're 100% liberal.

This is really not an accurate picture of european electoralism, it's closer to a description of US electoralism.

Then you know you're doing the thing where we exaggerate or simply call electoral leftists liberals for the sake of it. It's an unfair assessment, yes their electoralism is misguided but they're not libs other than for the fact that what they're doing will only result in liberalism.
