the last time the US successfully couped venezuela, the people rioted for weeks and the US had to capitulate. sadly i dont think that will happen this time. with the global rise of fascist violence and terrorism since then, it would not shock me at all if ms. nobel peace prize instructs the troops to open fire on protestors and the media will spin it as a “civil war taking place within venezuela instigated by maduro loyalists”

The military is largely loyal to Maduro and thoroughly opposed to US imperialism. I think Venezuela will resist.

Resist who? It sounds like this was a black ops mission and there are no forces on the ground.

Resist a puppet regime through Machado by military coup if need be. Or should there eventually be forces on the ground resist more directly. Resistance is not just formal military confrontation.
