Don't get me wrong, I'm not against technological advancements. I believe we should replace high risk jobs -like mining, cleaning tall buildings- and fucking useless jobs -like CEOs, many governmental jobs- with robots. But by letting these rich leeches do whatever they want, we just move to a worse future instead.

The issue isn't the technology itself but the control of it (and society's resources more broadly). It should be a good thing to replace menial jobs with robots in some cases, but society becoming more productive (by accomplishing automate-able tasks more efficiently) shouldn't be an economic threat to society as it is under capitalism.

When we were thinking about AI, we imagined it would do the boring parts of the science, so humans could focus on discovering and inventing cool new stuff.

When the LM pandemic hit the market, the first thing corpos make it do was to steal art, music, and literature -the things that make us human.

The leeches literally want to turn us into bionic robots that only work and breed until they become unwieldy for the machine.
