Give me my VOTOMS or give me death

Looking at the plot summary on Wikipedia and it says that Votoms essentially means Bottoms, which is pretty funny. The party would have a review board to settle these issues.

It really gets good with the OVA sequels. I also like the spinoff, Armor Hunter Mellowlink (ever think "damn, wouldn't it be cool if a dude fought a mech on foot?")

Looked up just some random ass footage on YouTube and this looks like precisely the kind of shit im into. Is there really complicated space politics? Cause I love really complicated space politics

Legend of the Galactic Heroes is more of a complicated space politics anime (if not, the complicated space politics - it's very Romance of the Three Kingdoms person-focused melodrama), if you're looking for that.

There's a bit of that in Votoms, but it's not the main thing. The first arc has the main character doing a lot of officer-down, if that sounds appealing.
