There are material historical conditions embedded in myths, no? Some of which directly affect the progression and outcome of the myth?

All I'm saying is if theyre going to keep the setting ancient greece, itd be nice if the production had some more accuracy than just vibes. It's a nitpick, sure, but it's not unreasonable considering the director literally modelled a black hole for Interstellar.
