I think the war in Ukraine is becoming extremely unpopular in Europe, especially amongst the far right and left.

Liberals either are no longer into it or are rabid about it but I don't think the average person either cares or is for it.

I think people only say they're for it because they don't wanna be attacked by saying they're against it because they're supposed to be for it, and also Ukraine is supposed to be winning right now.

What happens when Ukraine starts very obviously losing? Only the rabid nafo people will support it still.

I think people only support Ukraine if Ukraine is "winning"

Ukraine has been obviously losing for a long time. Westerners have no concept of reality and could never understand military doctrine that isn't Shock and Awe. The west will memory hole the loss, and imagine some pedantic victory, like Vietnam or something.

I just want to point out that Ukraine was very obviously losing badly from the very beginning to the point they had to make up outright lies to obfuscate that (the Ghost of Kyiv!)

Really though, wasn't Russia on Kyiv's doorstep within, like, the first week? And then they made some deal, Russia backed off in good faith, and then Ukraine and Western fascists pulled back on the deal? That's the understanding I have, but I may be wrong.
