That's somehow even more insulting than nothing
one time at a job I had I got a green underripe banana and one of those styrofoam dollar cup ramen as a one-off "thank you" - because the management from another section dumped their 'thank you' gifts on our section after they ran out of people to give shit to but were too stingy and "egalitarian" to toss the rest at some random fuckers, so we got a shitty unedible banana and a shitty ramen cup for the first actual "gift" in literal years of service of "Your paycheck is your gift" schtick. Immediately got told we couldn't eat it on the job and told to get back to work. Everyone threw it away in the trash in front of their office on the way out. very enthusiastically.
honestly kind of a waste of a banana, but fuck, would you walk around for a whole shift with a banana in your pants pocket?
there's not a single job i've had where carrying a banana in my pocket for more than 5 minutes would result in anything besides mashed banana smeared through the entirety of my pocket
even if it was a firm green banana? Like it'd be like trying to bite into a raw potato and is less appetizing than a raw potato?
