It IS a psychedelic, but it's usually just so mild that people don't view it as such. I'm wondering if there might be a specific interaction with autism spectrum/AuDHD since our brains process things a little differently from NTs.
My experience was fairly similar to Sabre's, but it took me two or three trips before I started disassociating and depersonalizing and started seeing fragments of my "self" as discrete entities that were all squabbling for control while the "main" one -- I guess representing my executive function -- basically took a weed nap. At the time I didn't put any more stock in it than I do with dreams, but then it happened again. And again. And again. So my subconscious was definitely trying to tell me something, lol
