Libs typically don't make comparisons to Hitler when trying to make something look bad these days
Funny that
Hitler's crimes are pretty well documented and substantiated with paper trails and physical evidence, unlike those against North Korea or Mao or Russia.
Comparing to real events falls flat when the conditions or series of events don't perfectly line up. Far easier to compare to an ambiguous "authoritarianism" and cite a caricature of very real famines to stress the human cost and ground it via a reference anything material.
I mean they did use “jihadist” and “Venezuela” though.
they didn't even mention hamas or antisemitism. truly tragic
