8. Misinformation is prohibited.

The worst part of this is that she has enough clout to be heard. How many people is this happening to that we don't hear about? America is being ran by nazis.
It had already previously happened to her son and uncle without national attention.
Dog, I'm white with a small crack on my ID and cops STILL go crazy. The thing that pisses me off, is when they TRY to break your ID and act like they're testing it.

Then try to seize your phone?

Nowhere in the comment you're replying to did it say or imply anything along the lines of "the same thing happened to me."
True. But what this person and her family went through should not be normalized or belittled. You seem like a good guy, so I bet you understand why I had to type that out.
I rather took the comment as clearly saying 'if they do it to my privileged demographic, how much worse will it be for the people they visually target?'

It looks like it could be taken 2 different ways. I apologize if you were empathizing with her.
The reason I went so strongly is because of the amount of people who are so shitty to Native Americans. In a suburb of Seattle, the cops were doing a wellness check and then shot and killed a pregnant woman in front of her kid. They were covering each others asses left and right. Who tf knows what really happened.
In Vancouver BC, there are many, many missing First People. Canada isn't immune either. I had no idea how bad it is until we moved here.

Dog, no. I agree! I can see how our comments could be easily misread. I think we're in the same book. If it makes you feel any better, go through my comments. It happens.

What idiots are downvoting this? Four members of ICE, a group lying nazi shiatheads, accused the woman they detained of lying to them, despite the fact that she had the necessary idenfication.
Then, after she pointed out that her detention could be cleared up with a single phone call, they refused to do it and tried to steal her phone when she tried to call.
They're not being downvoted for incorrect information. They're being downvoted because they appear to be attacking someone who is trying to empathize and are virtue signalling in the process.
I might have made a mistake. It might be reddit residue.
