Let's be clear, the person who I responded to was being provocative; there were and still are zero "thirst posts" in this thread. The original image is not a "thirst post." There was moderation of a misogynistic comment in the thread, so the remaining content is clearly appropriate enough to stand. That comment is pure tone policing on a subject that they weren't forced to engage with over behavior that was totally imagined.

My sarcastic comment was meant to be a much kinder way of conveying at least part of that. Maybe I should have been direct from the start.

Or it hasn't been tested? I.e. no mod has looked at it. Just because something remains up doesn't mean it is OK.

Do you honestly think that mods closed their eyes, removed a single comment, and then left without looking at anything else? If we're dealing in wild and improbable hypotheticals we can really cover some distance here.
