I was in another country recently and it was beautiful how little advertising there was. I came home and was shocked by how obnoxious all our advertising was here. It’s really antithetical to beauty.

“Graffiti of the rich” is totally and utterly correct. It’s them marking public space with their own junk detracting from public space aesthetics.

I've come to a point now where I just cannot fucking stand seeing ads. I block so much of them out from my normal life that when I'm in a position where I have to see them, it's the same feeling as hearing an alarm go off. Blaring, screeching, ungodly noise that I am immediately compelled to turn away from.
