"Look I just wanna make it clear, I follow the democratic party line in condemning AES, but maybe we shouldn't blockade and bomb them, pretty please?" gets ignored

I mean, any majorly elected politician is going to be bad in foreign policy lest the Trump and broader reactionary forces call them 'traitors' and kick them out of their seats or fabricate even more lies than they are now.

And yeah, the American public also just sucks at foreign policy in general, most of 'em, anyway.
