That time when public figure and ultraleftist Stephen Gowans had an argument with people on here about whether China is imperialist
I don't remember exactly, but I think one user mailed him and he responded through his blog or something while never explicitly stating who he was talking to, but it was obviously this place
That was me. I am prolific about actually chasing people off-site with some of the takes cooked up here. Nobody bothers doing it because most of you think it won't be seen or it won't get through or whatever but it does more often than you think and is worth doing it. Yesterday I also made Brianna Wu get Leslie Feinberg's book.
It takes 3 minutes of effort, if it's wasted no harm done but more of you should really try.

Gowans is an ultra? That’s a shame, I like his stuff on the DPRK.
His book on DPRK is still worth reading
