Rules:

8. Misinformation is prohibited.
Misinformation / propaganda is strictly prohibited. Any comment or post containing or linking to misinformation will be removed. If you feel that your post has been removed in error, credible sources must be provided.
9. No link shorteners or news aggregators.
All posts must link to original article sources. You may include archival links in the post description. News aggregators such as Yahoo, Google, Hacker News, etc. should be avoided in favor of the original source link. Newswire services such as AP, Reuters, or AFP, are frequently republished and may be shared from other credible sources.
10. Don't copy entire article in your post body

I didn't vote for Trump. And you don't seem to have a good idea of just how bad corporate Democrats are. It's not "they won't touch what we have" it's "they'll give it away in less visible ways," often through inaction when action is possible, necessary, and begged for by the people. They are not an opposition to the Republicans, they're complicit.
Our biggest fight is trying to convince apathetic nonvoters to vote, and apathetic voters to actually vote against this system in the primaries. Your messaging is hurting the latter, so please stop.
If you voted third party you voted for Trump. Ignorance of how our shitty system actually functions is not an excuse.

i have been thinking for a bit about what you said. you have to understand where us (people not from US) are coming from. whether you like it or not, US is (now not so much) beacon of hope, a gold standard for freedom and prosperity. you prosper, we prosper.
i think the way you view your politics is wrong. your reality is painfully simple. you only have two choices. dems of republicans. regardless of what you wish to happen within your democratic views, at the end of the day that is all you have. to not vote dems because they don't satisfy your immediate wishes is incredibly shortsighted. i get it, many didn't like who was put forward from the dem side. but what exactly was the voting option on that day? it was red or blue. T or H (ironically same letters both times!). bad choices? absolutely! same outcomes? absolutely not!
i really hope you guys wake up and change where you are heading because you have no idea how bad things can get! US and most western countries have never experienced the horrors of a totalitarian regime. i wish you good luck with your struggles!
I disagree on one key point. My problem with the Democratic Party is not that they don't satisfy my immediate wishes. In fact, it is very much the opposite.
Voting for them does satisfy my immediate wish in the general elections, which is always to keep the Republicans out of power. My problem with the Democrats is with the long term health of my country's politics. There is a deep rot in the Democratic Party and always going for the easy path has led to that rot being ignored and festering into the sinister problem we have today. It was exposed in the most public manner to date in the 2016 primaries, and they've been covering it up and smearing anyone who is trying to address it ever since.
I firmly believe if we don't root out this corruption in the Democratic Party, it does not matter what happens in the short term. Focusing only on one election at a time is what got us into this position. We have to fight the hard fight now while we still can, because we're sliding into fascism if we don't, no matter who wins elections. We were no farther from fascism after Biden's term in office than we were before.
