oh god i hated that stuff. windows would be constantly nagging me about turning on automatic brightness detection to save battery and save the planet π₯Ί even though what i set it to manually was almost always lower lol

I'm eco friendly, I use Linux.
I like to lie to myself that my Gentoo install was very eco friendly... But I think the updates were 100x more impactful than the saved idle power.
