or someone who doesn't want to see stonetoss on their feed, even when it's edited, which imo is fair

i get your point but wow i do not want to live in a world where the government can explicitly decide who can have kids and who can’t

je connais pas tant ses positions ni ses accomplissements, mais à en juger par son entrevue avec Pivot, je pense qu'on a raison d'avoir espoir en QS

i wondered if it meant running windows ARM program on Linux ARM, or running windows x86 programs on Linux ARM

turns out, it seems to be both! neat!

whites will literally put racialized people’s suffering over their own wellbeing

white privilege is a hell of a drug

honestly i think part of the reason i’m a computer tinkerer now is my formative years were spent trying to run specific minecraft launchers, n64 emulators and other stuff on the family mac

i like how she’s still worried about "our extreme ideas"

what extreme ideas??? that trans women should compete in women’s sports??? the extreme idea that trans women are women???

i’d say my most extreme idea is that trans kids should be able to start HRT when they (and their cis peers) start puberty. and that’s only an extreme idea if you believe that trans kids are less deserving of a normal puberty than cis kids.

omg right??!?!? i hate when that happens

while ordinary people were only allowed to water their lawns three times a week.

that’s already too much imo. watering a lawn is a total waste of water, wether it’s being done by millionaires or not.

finding ways to breach the containment of webviews inside of apps has to be one of my favourite pointless hobbies.

i've noticed lately that there seems to be federation issues with lemmy.world. i don't receive updates from communities or users there, and looking at my profile from lemmy.world, it's missing a few comments that were posted in the last days, when usually it's much much quicker to update.

even when looking at .world communities on here when not logged in, they seem to be stuck in the past! for example, from here the last post from !games@lemmy.world is from 5 days ago, but on .world there are many more recent posts.

does anyone else have issues with them? are we blocking them, or are they blocking us?

does anyone know what would cause this precisely? why would anti-fingerprinting mess with the colors i use to edit an image in the browser?

i'd be tempted to brush this off as the website being malicious and lying to get me to deactivate fingerprinting protection, but the website is fully open-source and what they describe happened to me on Piskel (a pixel art editor, which would constantly mess up my colors in subtle but annoying ways)
