Just saw a social media post about BG3 VAs coming back to record dialogue with proper they/them pronouns. 30% of the comments passed the vibe check, the other 70%....gulag. re-education camps. The pit. I dont care. Theyre so miserable that a digital, escapist medium trying to cater to as many people as possible makes them angry. If that is some shit that ruins your day, then give me some fucking money, fuck you i need medicine while you're malding and seething over something you probably won't have to see on your playthrough. I know you have the money to give me because THIS is what pisses you off. Not the current state of the country, but pronouns in video games.

I’m so glad I don’t spend any time in gaming communities. This shit would make my blood boil as well.
I can be a miserable sack of shit sometimes, but I really, really try not to yuck a yum or let my idealism ruin everyone’s good time. It takes a special type of dumb guy to get mad about pixels and spew so much vitriol towards people who appreciate the representation in their favorite media.
Im not really in any gaming communities either, I just happen to see this shit while scrolling on my socials and it fucking makes me so angry that chuds, reactionaries, and worse cant just fucking leave shit alone. They must creep into literally ANYTHING that gets a news article to announce "im a fucking asshole and cannot stand the thought of catering to someone other than me."
To them, I say swallow my shit and hair. This world isnt for you. It may be right now at this moment, but inshallah socialism will win and we will beat humanity into them through re-education and a cultural revolution.
Aaah fair. I don’t really use any socials anymore. I scroll the bear and occasionally a very curated Bluesky or mastodon feed. But I kind of avoid raw dogging public internet spaces.
