What's the one about logging into thr Soviet compare after work to access hexbear?
Soviet America, modernized Soviet technology, the world still hasn't left the model of a computer itself and a hardware terminal as two separate machines even in home single-user computing (which does actually track, Soviet civilian/household technology did tend to be... much less separated in its paradigms from military and workplace tech than similar types of multi-purpose tech in the West), the Soviet Union has a State Linux Distro, and leftist places online are the same sectarian cesspit they are in our timeline... god, this one's got everything. Soviet America stuff always makes me want to live in that timeline, but this one hit so hard. Mmm.
It's definitely a pleasant few moments of reading
It's only 800 and some characters long, which while making it on the longer end of the spectrum is far from the top. It is however possibly the longest in terms of screen-space taken up due to it's use of many paragraphs.
I don't think I've seen that one.
It's an imagining of what life would be like under communism, you have to work 30 hours a week which is a lot but you get more months of vacation to make up for it, then they log in their living room and bring up Hexbear.
