As long as bystanders aren't hurt, I like the way Germany approaches jailbreaks as an instinctive human need for freedom that isn't a crime. I wish that was applied to things like robbing banks, armoured cars, and pulling off the perfect jewel theft. The more heists we have, the more heist films we have. All of the property is insured. It's a net gain for society.

Let me tunnel into a bank vault and loot all the safety deposit boxes with an AK47 strapped to my chest. That isn't criminal. That's the childlike joy of opening a box.

This is why Shadowrun is such a great RPG setting/system. It's basically a heist simulator with trolls and bionic arms. Awesome blend of a bunch of things that are intrinsically rad on their own.
