There isn't an alternative if you exclude Linux/other FOSS OS. You don't get one when you use a proprietary, capitalist-controlled OS. You are inherently at the whims of whatever capital thinks will give investors a stiffy.
I just have no interest in putting up with linux aggravations every day
Like what? Windows tends to be way more temperamental for most people's use cases.
Haven’t ever found windows temperamental whereas on Linux every five minutes I’m having to look up why something in the terminal isn’t working.
What are you doing in the terminal? Most users don't need to use the terminal at all if they're just doing typical things they would on Windows. I would recommend staying away from it if you don't know how to use it.
The thing is I know how to use it, but like 90%. The remaining ten is impossible. Also I've never heard of using linux without using the command line. Am I stuck in 25 years ago?
Edit: I have 6 years professional pentesting experience, how is it that is suck this bad lol
I think these “aggravations” are in your imagination. Linux is a much more friendly OS to use than windows.
Yeah good ok
