I'll go first:

Breaking Bad.

I can't do it. I've seen the first season! I know what you're going to say next: oh but it gets better after the first season you HAVE to watch it.

The Walking Dead.

Can't do it. There is so much walking dead bullshit I simply can't watch it.

Battlestar Galactica.

I know its good. I've been told over and over and over again. I simply can't!

None of these shows are going to live up to the hype I can feel it in my bones.

Andor might be in that boat but I did watch it all the way through. Probably won't again. I liked it, but if you haven't seen it yet I can't imagen it lives up to the hype. Maybe a little.

I've met a few people who just fucking refuse to watch Breaking Bad and it's always someone who I know would enjoy it if they actually bothered to give it a shot. I don't know if it's your thing or not because I don't know ya, but I will still tell you what I told all of them: I actually fully understand being a contrarian but you're really only hurting yourself by not indulging in the most well-acted, well-written, well-shot show (including Better Call Saul) I have ever seen.

I just wouldn't know how I'd talk to someone who has watched the first episode of Breaking Bad is like meh, not that good.

Different strokes for different folks. I guess

I found the whole show pretty mid, only punctured by some truly gripping moments.

Yeah, I got absolutely nothing to say to that. Thanks for testing my hypothesis.

i went back to re-watch it at some point and it's kinda boring early on because none of the interesting stuff is happening yet

I think the first episode would work as a standalone film

and then it's a slog for like 3 episodes because immediately pivoting to making drugs would shatter our suspension of disbelief

They are cooking in the first episode already, it just feels like an entire season because so much happens.

There are some people where you just gotta watch it while they're in the room and they'll get into it
