wow his kid doesnt even believe in the event and is just going to look like he has a shred of humanity in him which he doesnt apparently and thats STILL not being big enough of a nazi for his dad.

his weirdo little shit is being disrespectful to the cause by showing up just to look like hes not a zionist demon and the dad wants him to be even more extreme

If this is real, it's almost certain he does support the cause and is lying to his parents. The type of psychological damage that zionists do to themselves have wouldn't allow them to feel safe in a protest like that, they think they're always right about to be attacked.

Honestly this reply makes a lot of sense; I've not read of a single pro-zionist who'd ever go to one of these things, let alone have friends who'd participate in such an event

Ya he just doesn't want to have to deal with the fall out from his parents. Probably has given up on convincing his mom and is just going to coast through the next couple of years living with her until college.

At which point if it's anything like the US, the parents will blame the college for turning him liberal.

Isn't this written by his mother?

Oh, is it? Not sure why I thought it was the father. I'll correct my comment. Thanks.

Yeah, I know what that feels like. There's some topics where I'll just leave the room when it comes up, because the argument with my dad will be a complete waste of time and energy, and I'd rather not have my mom know I'm a genuine communist, not just an edgy social democrat who likes Soviet symbolism and winding Dad up about the Cold War.

[–] alexei_1917@hexbear.net 13 points 6 months ago

Yep. I live with two children of the Cold War and I've been a communist pretty much ever since I knew what that word meant. I've said things like that to avoid all kinds of political fallout at home.

This is what I was thinking, although we obviously can't know for sure.

Wait, isn't the OP the mother? Or I guess the son could have two dads.

I am Jewish and the father of my son is not.
