I mean on God this baby's coming either way and if it's my son's I want to fucking be a part of this little girl's life so I guess I shouldn't have reached out to anybody else I reached out in the Fediverse now because I guess I just have to shout into the void to get it off my chest I'm freaking out waiting she's dilated to four and it's crazy I talked to her for like 5 hours today, pretty disappointed in the fact that my son is acting like it's not his but she just wants to show him it is she doesn't want the state to go after him, she has a fiance that wants to raise this girl as his own, so that's pretty cool. But everybody else I talked to is just worried about logistics, I'm like fucking excited and everybody's fucking ruining it with logistics and bullshit so anyway lemmy, I'm just venting nobody needs to talk to me if you don't want to but damn I might be a Grandpa

Yep I'm freaking out and everybody's just talking about oh gosh money and liability and diapers. What about celebrating this new beautiful baby girls life? Nobody seems to be wanting to do that. I text my dad what her name was going to be and he just seem to make a joke and criticize the spelling of her first name, I'm just like I don't care you fucking spell it, my ex-wife wanted to put a y in Daryk, how can I fucking complain about a name. Just hope mother and baby are safe and I'm happy that my son's ex-girlfriend still keeps in touch with me and told me all these details about her mucus plug and her water breaking and the fact that she's probably going to be having a baby soon dilated at 4
So since nobody else seems excited, maybe lemmy can be excited with me. I know it's a pretty unusual situation, but I am all alone in the house and I don't want to bother the mother who's about to give birth hell she's probably at 5 now. I am so tired I want to go to sleep but this baby's probably going to be crowning before long.
