does hamas oppress women, or do they give them frog hats and send them on aid missions? this israel narrative is starting not to add up. im gonna do some research.

Yep. See also any "bad guy country" in general where they "hate the government, not the people" but also think all the people are too stupid to ever think for themselves and are all mindless brainwashed zombies.
