It does seem like that. Maybe they expect it to go the way of Myspace post sale. So either let the US hamstring the platform and lose all the value or cash out and leave someone else holding the bag. I do hope post sale it becomes irrelevant. Tbh it's already seeming more and more like Facebook and starting to cater to the same user base. Most lefties or libs seem to be going to bluesky, which is hilarious, because these are the twitter people basically that let twitter turn into X. It's like the cycle continues. Lefty libs get on a platform and right wingers chase them. They leave for a new platform and the cycle resets
