the only way to hurt disney is people cancelling thier disney+, espn, hulu plus subscription. it will be hard for marvel and SW fans to cancel it, since thier so addicted to the franchises. there is a reason why disney is shoveling so much MARVEL garbage to the streams, its keeping ti afloat.
...You must not have seen to much of that stuff of late... Its not gonna be the Sophies choice you think it is.
yea i said those franchise wasnt good, but i feel like they have neough of "nufans to sustain them"
They dont. No one is watching that shit, other than diehards. Its all slop as far as the eye can see. Even Andor, which has universal praise, has almost no one watching it.
nufans are pratically the diehard ones.
"They are" doesn't have an "i".
To conjoin those two words, you delete the "a" from "are", replace it with an apostrophe, and push them up together, getting: "they're"

Can they keep going to the parks, watching the movies in theater, and buying the merch?
Cause streaming isn't a significant part of their business.
If a number goes down, even a little, on any one of their ever increasing revenue inputs, it's enough to panic investors
People have been saying that since Biden. But so much of the capital is tied up in Hedge Funds and at such a high price point that there's not a lot of people to sell it to.
Dumping stock only makes sense when there's someone to take your bags. If you don't have a designated mark (the US Treasury during the '08 collapse, for instance, or the recent 10% stake in Intel that the government just took) then all you can do is hold.
hmm, good point!
Well it's not the only way, Disney was a company much before streaming services. The streaming part is low hanging fruit though.
