They don't care. The end goal for a lot of these Christian Nationalists who literally are writing laws now is effectively the Handmaid's Tale or worse - all those incels who spent the Obama years memeing about "government mandated girlfriends" might actually make arranged government marriages, or severe economic or political consequences for single women over a certain age, an actual thing.

I recently watched The Handmaid's Tale for the first time. Very good show, but god damn was I uncomfortable.

Which is good because honestly with that show, that's the point

Oh yeah, it 100% is and it's very well done. I thoroughly enjoyed the show, because it was eye opening.
