bro did not put much effort into not getting caught
ditching the rifle in a bush and trying to come back for it so they don't get prints is wild levels of hopium
even if there wasn't a single security camera on this campus he'd have been caught 5 other ways...

He was watching The Handmaiden and found the revenge against a bigot plot very inspiring, but he paused it right there and forgot to watch the third act that explains how to get away after you do the thing.
