I agree with this in Mexico coke is cheaper than water at an average 10 cents per liter. Though their Chinese EV tariff plan is going to negate any real health benefits since their local market doesn't produce EVs in enough volume.

If you want health benefits, just start putting bicycle lanes everywhere instead of pushing EVs. The entire dependency on cars is largely artificial and by design.

If there were enough bicycle roads, people will use them and no longer need a car to go to the local OXXO

Oh I wasn't aware they are passing tariffs against EVs, I was under the impression that they are having a pro-Chinese agenda.

I don't know where or how are you buying your stuff but a 3L coca cola is between 40-50 pesos while a 20L purified water costs about 20, more from the big brands but it's still 17 more liters
