For some strange reason, my kids have watched this multiple times now...
I tend to like a lot of what they like or at least understand why they like it.
This... I... Just don't get. Haha.
Agreed. My middle-aged friend talked this movie up like crazy until I finally watched it. It was meh.
The story had real potential and never really sunk its teeth into any one aspect. Being accepted for what you are, your duty to the people, the social media rat race, the romance with a demon to collude against evil, a message to be constructive rather than demeaning........ so many meaningful avenues that they just glance towards and don't commit fully to any one.
The music honestly has a bunch of banger tunes.......if you can get over the crazy amount of overuse of autotune.
Yep. Apparently the music was a big deal because I hear it's streaming in my home now and then. Took me a bit to realize it was from the movie. 🤷🏽
And honestly, none of this bothers me at all. It's just a curiosity. There's nothing about the movie that I find offensive or wrong or weird. And what I do know of it seems to be more good than anything.
I just didn't find it all that engaging myself.
Same at my house. I guess it's fine? It's like a more musical Miraculous Lady Bug.
Haha. I don't know. I mean I watch a decent amount of it, but I'm just surprised by the continued interest.
