I know I've spent too much time in Asia when I see nothing wrong with the picture and needed to go to the comments to find out why. I still don't get it.
He was giving a press conference and an angry middle eastern guy threw shoes at him (a big insult).
He waved off his secret service, electing to dodge the shoes. To this day I think he was like "finally I get to do something fun"
