That'd be nice. I'd like it to occur with my extended family unharmed as well with whatever form unification takes.

Absolutely. I have too many friends and friends with family over on the peninsula. My hope, even if faint, is that waning US influence as an empire will result in the US leaving Korea alone, and gradual reunification. I know that won't happen without some violence, but my hope is that such violence would be minimal compared to the devastation a reignited Korean war would bring.

The reason the peninsula is not unified is because Kim Jong Un would win the elections.

"Aren't women bourgeois and stinky but also state mandated wives" vs. "Guaranteed right to housing, healthcare and education"
