I think it is TDS to say he is doing this to try to distract from the files stuff. It just seems so out of character for him to care enough about it

I don't follow mainstream news much, but Trump's ability to suck all the air out of the room by doing crazy shit seems to have eliminated the 80% of my posts on Lemmy that were about Epstein. ๐ค

idk, I think the Maxwell thing has itself been pretty troublesome, and he's made other desperate moves that are pretty clearly distractions, so I don't see why this wouldn't be. Could also be a distraction from martial law in DC though, idk.

Yeah, he's got his own personal hangups with drugs, along with a lifetime marinating in drug war propaganda. Just seems he's saying it to make his annoying staffers shut the fuck up about it.
