Rules:
-- PLEASE KEEP POST TITLES INFORMATIVE --
-- Overly editorialized titles, particularly if they link to opinion pieces, may get your post removed. --
-- All posts must include a link to their source. Screenshots are fine IF you include the link in the post body. --
-- If you are citing a twitter post as news please include not just the twitter.com in your links but also nitter.net (or another Nitter instance). There is also a Firefox extension that can redirect Twitter links to a Nitter instance: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/libredirect/ or archive them as you would any other reactionary source using e.g. https://archive.today/ . Twitter screenshots still need to be sourced or they will be removed --

-- Using April 1st as an excuse to post fake headlines, like the resurrection of Kissinger while he is still fortunately dead, will result in the poster being thrown in the gamer gulag and be sentenced to play and beat trashy mobile games like 'Raid: Shadow Legends' in order to be rehabilitated back into general society. --

I hate this whole obsession of single individuals representing the whole country. Like im sure there are alot of people that can work out the trade agreement and it doesnt have to be some mafia style my boss talks to your boss. I think Trump is just mob-brained
western media cannot delve into the material basis for geopolitics, or acknowledge the democratic legitimacy of enemy leadership. so everything has to be reduced to psychological analysis of the "dictator" who personally controls everyone in their country through intimidation
I mean, to be fair, the tariffs were done by executive order so the whole trade agreement is sort of hinged on him. It makes sense that China would send Xi to talk him down rather than just direct him to the ministry of finance or something.
Trump's political mentor was Roy Cohn the mobbed up McCarthyist attorney
Trump just continuing the grift to get vacations paid for by taxpayers where they treat him like a vip the whole time he's there.
Correct and China is as much to blame for this shit though, that disastrous piece of garbage idea for Xi to meet Biden in SF barely one month into the genocide?
The CPC enjoys the idea Xi can have the soft peaceful discourse and being the "good" face of modern China just as much as the racist westerners enjoy making Xi caricatures of dictatorship etc.
Nah, China required Trump to do this because America has backed out of everything they agreed to on Trump's say so. You can't trust his talented subordinates when he consistently overrides them
