MODERATORS

But in Gaza today, cash has all but disappeared. Aside from the brief ceasefire interlude that started in January and Israel ended on 19 March, when some cash aid was delivered by international organizations, no cash had entered Gaza for 15 months prior and none since.

Jesus Christ. I went to public college in a deep red Southern state. Only the future cops in any classes sounded like this.

I don't always agree with anyone on everything. But I'm not stealing their stuff and complaining about moderation. Once that I can remember, I waded into a ypb thread and raised an issue with Jordan; another time I asked in a deleted thread. He addressed it I appreciated it and moved on. I do read modlogs periodically (and highly recommend everyone does) and strongly disagree with a boatload of mod decisions that just seem arbitrary AF (which plenty of mods take issue with politicians and other mods seemingly doing). I'm not on Lemmy waging an active campaign against it although I will comment on toxicity levels and hypocrisy occasionally. But hey, at least when the SS knocks on Lemmy members doors, people can actively point at fighting for the values of their states by saying they wage an active campaign against lemmy.ml I guess. 🤷‍♀️
