The other funny part is, he owns the ISP so if there actually was lag it was still his fault
~~to be fair, he was on a plane~~
on second thought there is no need to be fair to elon
Yeah he was on his own private jet, which means he was definitely using starlink, which means the lag he blamed for his total lack of gaming skill would still be his own fault
It can be both
If he was lagging then the first thing to drop would have been streaming the video, which takes considerably more bandwidth than the game itself.
He wasn't lagging, he was just so high on ket he couldn't even beat a tutorial boss.
Was it the ket or was it pure skill issue?
Wait, how can the game lag because of a bad connection? Was he streaming the game itself for some reason? Surely the Muskrat can afford a gaming rig for his plane to run it locally.
I haven't played PoE2 but PoE is always online and server dependent.
But he wasn't lagging he's just bad.
OK, I only know the game by name and was vaguely aware that it's single player or at least can be played single player.
It can be played single player, but even in single player mode it's still online, presumably so the club of hArDcOrE gAmErS that Musk is trying to be a part of can brag to each other about their leaderboard scores or whatever (and also as DRM)
It can't really be played single player, it just have faux single player mode when you can't trade or party with others but you still need to be online.
Pillars of Eternity is the single player CRPG that has the same abbreviation (that you might be confusing this for)
