Bro should've trimmed or covered his eyebrows, those things will ID him anywhere. Mask + Sunglasses could've made things much harder on the cops. Maybe also be less expressive when on the job("the job" being any part of travelling to and from the site), the smile he has is popular with the audience but it's ID'd him too.
This is all that matters to keep the dude relateable to anyone and everyone.
Where are his anti-capitalist credentials? I don't see this on the twitter. Seems mostly like work-related posting, most of it being bazinga tech stuff. I'm not going to judge a person in the tech industry posting bazinga tech stuff unless they also profess that techbro shit in a personal setting. Nothing about capitalism or capital on his twitter though?? Not sure where they've got this from.
With that said, I also think that being kinda muddle brained without a coherent ideology makes this a more uniting figure. The left of the working class can see what they want in him and the right of the working class can too.
The important aspect is that both halves of the working class agree that he was right to lash out against the ruling class.

The eyebrows at best identify him as the guy in the cab, but I am very much not convinced the guy in the cab was the shooter.
would be a bizzare coincidence for the guy in the cab to not be the shooter but also have been there and also owns a silenced pistol
which means, to me, theres only 2 options:

This guy is getting set up so the cops/ FBI can save face
Oh yes to be clear when I say I think this was the guy in the hostel but not the shooter I do mean that the cops planted that shit on him
In fact the gun is part of why I don’t believe it’s him. There’s no fucking way he’s just still carrying the gun around into McDonald’s. The gun that killed Brian Thompson is at the bottom of the Hudson.
They need to make him into a communist even if he wasn't. Too many reactionaries agree with this and it's making the bourgeoisie uncomfortable.
So he gets assigned that even if he wasn't. They use it to crack down on the left which is what they want and to make him out to be the right kind of public enemy though still a muddled one with a muddled definition of communist in the loose "Democrats are communists" kind of way that still gives enough cover to justify moving resources away from the right-wing extremists to surveilling the left instead and to pushing that narrative along with a bill through congress or executive order. If he was a raging swastika wearing Hitlerite and openly so online through weeks before the shooting they wouldn't be able to do this but would instead just bury it and call it a random act of violence without ideology but if it's at all muddled and there's even a chance of pushing this angle because of incoherence they were always going to and at the very least say he was poisoned by communist ideology into doing the deed.
