This site has given me so much, changed me in a lot of ways, helped me when I need it, and been there through a LOT for me. Last year when my life absolutely fell apart, I still logged on every day to join you all in the posting trenches.

Chat does this by being a long-form community where topics will remain from day to day unlike the megathread, and it is distinct from c/chapotraphouse in that we ask you to engage in this community in a genuine way.
