Sadly it sounds like that was the norm. And people like op here say the protest is over and it doesn't matter. Protest is over because reddit strong armed it over. I'll use it if I Google something I need an answer to, but not for a daily scroller anymore

use libreddit or teddit if you need to see an answer on reddit
Didnt libreddit go down due to the API changes? Because it doesnt seem to be working for me
Libreddit/Teddit are rate limited somewhat, just change instance until it works.
