i’m doing it because I want to make the fediverse more friendly place, in hopes of making it more welcoming for new users, and the nicer place in general. But I wonder how much is just less bots.

I can't really think of a reason for that as Reddit is hated somewhat equally by "both" sides of the spectrum. It's just something I find interesting.

I can wear a dress to work and nobody criticizes me. I’d be really sad if I had to wear pants all the time, they’re just not as comfortable. Let’s normalize pretty dresses for dudes!

Had this funny thought of mind had to share 🤣

Edit: Here is my thought process the partner would be the scientists who keeps releasing statistics/ safe word that we're heading to doom. The other partner would be the us who consume this statistics and suppose to interpretate this appropriately to slow down/stop. But instead to continue ahead with what we're doing anyway. Both parties know that there is something bad but none of the parties can't stop it. Hopefully that made sense.

I was playing DnD with my friends, but unfortunately we are retarded get distracted easy so the whole game we would move nothing.

We decided to remove some of the habilities rolls in orders to make it faster, and it worked. The game was finally moving, and the storyline was progressing like a normal game.

This was all about 2 months ago, nowa few days ago they wanted them back, when I started asking why, they would say shit like:" My character is better now"....

Bro just me an the DM where like...but we did it for the time you fucks. Don't you remember?.....

Either way, we voted they won, we played 3 hrs of game and nothing happened we did almost nothing.

GUESS WHAT, we ended up back to o removing some rolls..... Dude they just didn't remember, and that was an 2months ago

They aren't specially stupid, most of them are average intelligence , but they forget.

I'm afraid that so has America, and we end up with this cunt as president.....fuck me

I joined reddit on the tailwind, so it was all echo chamber, we hate newcomers, gatekeeping, automod frenzy, too many rulebreakers, too many rules, etc I could be wrong, but thats what I imagine it used to be like.

Everytime I look at small problems or big global problems, if you follow the money trail, it all leads to some billionaire who is either working towards increasing their wealth or protecting their wealth from decreasing.

Everything from politics, climate change, workers rights, democratic government, technology, land rights, human rights can all be rendered down to people fighting another group of people who defend the rights of a billionaire to keep their wealth or to expand their control.

If humanity got rid of or outlawed the notion of any one individual owning far too much money than they could ever possibly spend in a lifetime, we could free up so much wealth and energy to do other things like save ourselves from climate change.

A "Showerthought" is a simple term used to describe the thoughts that pop into your head while you're doing everyday things like taking a shower, driving, or just daydreaming. The best ones are thoughts that many people can relate to and they find something funny or interesting in regular stuff.
